About SDC AB
SDC AB is a Company that manufactures and sells Diamond Tools and Equipment for the Construction and rock coring industry.
The Company is a relatively young, but the staff has a genuine knowledge and long experience in the Diamond Drilling industry.
A lot of our experience and knowledge come from a history in Hagby Bruk AB, where many of us have been employed. Some of us for over 40 years. Sandvik took over from Hagby Bruk in 2006. After two years Sandvik chose to close the Department construction where many of us were employed. We made the decision to start up your own business and SDC AB. It felt right and we started small, with three employees in our own garage.
Today we have three Offices in Sweden with more than 30 employees. An engineering shop in Stockholm in charge of the Stockholm Market, with everything from soldering to the service of Drilling Motors and Wall Saws. Our second facility is in Gothenburg with two employees. Our Head office is situated in Nora where over 20 people are responsible for Administration, Sales, and Production.
Collaboration and Partners
SDC AB chose to start a cooperation with the Finnish Manufacturer Levanto OY very early, to broaden the Product Range. ARIX Diamond Tools from Shin He Diamond Industries was a given choice as we used their tools and felt comfortable with them.
In 2013 We started a collaboration with Pentruder which meant the sale of their Machine Programs and to offer our customers a complete Service and Supply of Spare Parts in Sweden.
2014, we started a partnership with MPirum to develop an advanced variant of the proven and popular HRA Drill Stand.
Year 2015, we took over part of Sandvik’s Production of Core Drilling Products which resulted in the expansion of our existing Facility in Nora. During 2015 we also started a project with several other Nora Enterprises to resume production of the popular SAVI Saw.
In the spring of 2016, we acquired the company Drillex AB and thus the distribution of IMDEX Limiteds™ range in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. With brands such as Reflex™, AMC™ and now also Devico™, they are world leaders in their respective business areas.

Construction: Sales, Production and Service of Hole Shooting Equipment for Concrete Holes. Everything from Wall Saws, Floor Saws, Wire Saws, Drilling Motors, Drill Stands, Wet Vacs and Diamond Tools. With our genuine know-how and broad Competence, we try to help our customers with the best Products and with Good Service.
Core Drilling: Manufacture and sale of diamond drilling equipment and accessories for rock core drilling. We also manufacture and sell spare parts and accessories for various types of core drilling machines for both surface and underground drilling.
As a large part of the staff comes from Hagby Bruk (later Sandvik), there is solid knowledge of manufacturing, for example, core barrels, drill rods, casings, drill bits and reamers. Our design department has many years of experience in designing machines and machine parts for rock core drilling.
We also have staff with extensive practical experience in core drilling both above and below ground. This provides a good mix of knowledge about how different types of equipment work under real conditions. All this together means that we often receive requests for various special products, e.g. drill bits with special dimensions, odd sizes, threads, spare parts, etc. We constantly strive to develop both our range and our existing products.
